Tips on how to avoid getting burned or scammed by replica watch dealers online.

The net is a very scary place if you are a first time replica watch buyer. I know this because I have been there, many sites claim they have the best replica watches on the net so it is very hard to choose a dealer based on this criteria.

The first time I bought a replica watch online I got burned big time, I thought if I bought my watch COD I would be protected right? what can possibly go wrong? I will only pay for the watch after I get it, correct?

Well, that is not the case. Ordering COD only means that you will get a package. You must have the Money Order or Cashier's check ready for the carrier before the carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS) releases the package to you. You get NO time to inspect what is inside regardless of what some sites claim. Just pick up the phone and call UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, or any other carrier and you will find out directly from them the same thing I am writing, they have no control nor responsibility about what you are ordering online. Their liability only goes so far as to collect payment from you in order to release the package to you, they are not responsible of what the package contains and you must deal with the retailer (replica site) directly. Best case scenario you get what you ordered, however this does not happen in most cases, at least not in my case. After I handed the Bank Cashier's check in the amount of $1,200.00 for my "swiss rolex yatchmaster gold replica" the driver just left and I was given not time to inspect the package at all. The yatchamster replica looked OK at first, the printing on the dial was solid, smooth sweeping hand, hack mechanism and the gold seemed fine, however the next morning the watch was already 5 minutes ahead, I tried contacting the company with no reply so I decided to take it to a jeweler to have it adjusted. The jeweler knows me so I had no problem telling him it was a replica with a swiss ETA movement, he said no problem "I'll adjust the watch for you". I came back later in the day pick up my watch and he said that it did not have swiss ETA movement despite that fact that it was stamped and marked as such. He said it was a Chinese replica movement of the swiss ETA movements , needless to say I was very upset and try to contact the company that I bought it from several times, they would not answer my emails and would hang up the phone on me, after about two months the gold started to fade making it a completely give away that is in fact a fake rolex....

I have tried several things to get my money back but it does not look good at all. At this point I am tired and out of $1,200 for a cheap Chinese knock off that is worth no more than $50.

My advice to you is get in touch with the replica watch site before you order, make sure they answer to you in a timely and in a professional manner.

Make sure you pay via credit card. VISA and Mastercard International guarantee your protection against fraud.

Use common sense when buying a replica watch, build trust with your supplier before spending thousands of dollars on a replica watch.

I would buy a Japanese replica instead of a swiss replica at first, just to get a feeling for the replica watches. If I am satisfied and still want to get an upgrade to the swiss replicas I can do so at anytime with my dealer.

Understand the difference between a Swiss replica and a Japanese replica watch

Know how to choose the right replica watch for you, what would I want to buy a replica watch, etc.
